| A recent news item here revealed a Tongan man had clubbed his dog unconcious with a hammer, slit its throat, then cooked and ate it. Apparently dog is a delicacy in Tonga, but it caused a bit of an outrage here. The courts found that because he had killed it 'humanely' that there was no case to answer, and that there is actually nothing illegal about eating dog. The New World supermarket chain has just announced a new product especially for the Tongan community... "Two minute poodles" | |
